Welcome to IGPL CRM. This Privacy Policy explains how IGPL CRM ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in a clear and transparent manner.

This policy applies to our mobile application "IGPL CRM" (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different types of information to provide and improve our service to you.

a) Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. Your password is used to secure your account and is managed by Google's Firebase Authentication service. We do not have access to your plain-text password.
  • Profile Information: To complete your profile, we collect your mobile number, city, profession, and gender. This information is used for account purposes and to personalize your experience with targeted in-app campaigns.
  • CRM Data (Stored Locally): The core data of your CRM is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. This includes:
    • Leads (including names, contact details, status, and any custom fields you create)
    • Follow-up reminders and schedules
    • Remarks and notes associated with your leads
  • Data for Import: If you use the bulk import feature, we process the CSV file you select to add leads to your local database. This file is not stored on our servers.
  • Google Account Information: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email) from Google to authenticate your account.

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token: We collect your unique FCM token to send you push notifications, such as follow-up reminders and campaign announcements.
  • Usage and Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect information about how you interact with our App. This may include features used, time spent in the app, and crash reports. This helps us understand user behavior and improve the App.

c) Information from Third-Party Services

  • Google Drive (for Backups): If you enable the backup feature, the App will access your Google Drive to create and store a private backup file of your CRM data. The App only has permission to access the files it creates and does not access any other files on your Google Drive. This backup is initiated by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Core CRM Functionality: To store your leads, manage follow-ups, and allow you to organize your customer relationships on your device.
  • To Authenticate and Secure Your Account: To allow you to log in, manage your account, and use security features like the biometric lock.
  • For Backup and Restoration: To allow you to back up your local data to your personal Google Drive and restore it when needed.
  • To Send Notifications: To send you important reminders for follow-ups and to inform you about in-app campaigns or updates that are relevant to you based on your profile.
  • For the Peer-to-Peer Sync Feature: To allow you to connect to another one of your devices (e.g., a web browser or tablet) by scanning a QR code. When you use this feature, your data is transferred directly between your devices to allow you to view it on a second screen. This data is not sent to us or any third party.
  • For License Verification: If you have purchased the app, we use your purchase token to verify your license with Google Play.
  • To Improve Our App: To analyze usage patterns, identify and fix bugs, and develop new features.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Your privacy is paramount. We do not sell your personal data.

We only share your information with the following third-party service providers who help us operate our App:

  • Google (Firebase): We use multiple Firebase services:
    • Firebase Authentication: To manage your account creation and login
    • Firestore: To securely store your account and profile information (name, email, city, etc.). Your lead and CRM data is not stored here
    • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To deliver push notifications
    • Firebase Cloud Functions: To run backend code for sending notifications and verifying licenses
    • Firebase Analytics: To gather anonymized usage statistics
  • Google (Google Drive): We share your encrypted backup file with your own Google Drive account only when you initiate a backup. We do not have access to your Google Drive account.

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Data: Your primary CRM data (leads, follow-ups, remarks) is stored in an encrypted database on your device using Hive.
  • Cloud Data: Your account information (profile, settings) is stored securely on Google's Firestore servers.
  • Security Measures: We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS, to protect your data in transit. We also offer a biometric lock feature for an additional layer of security on your device.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your information and can make the following choices:

  • Access and Edit Information: You can access and edit your profile and lead information directly within the App.
  • Disable Notifications: You can manage your notification preferences in the App's settings screen.
  • Backups: You can choose whether or not to enable backups to your Google Drive.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account from within the App. This will remove your profile information from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in this section of the App and on our Play Store listing. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
